In most cases a cleaning solution is applied and gently agitated to loosen the soil from the grout. The soil is then extracted and discharged to the truck outside. Upon request the technician will then apply a professional sealer to the grout which will provide protection from future spills.
In some cases an acid wash may be necessary. With this process the top layer of grout is actually removed away leaving the grout looking like new.
