Flood damage can happen as a result of any number of problems from a broken pipe to clogged sewer line.  No matter what the cause the damage can be extensive.  The biggest enemy in a flood is time.  Even in a clean water flood (Category 1), mold and mildew can begin to grow if the affected area is not dried as quickly as possible.
